Sheridan School District No. 2  Board of Education

The Board of Education in Sheridan is made up of five elected representatives who come from five director districts. Click on the links below to learn more about each Board Member:

Secretary, Ms. Diana Haip

The Board of Education meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM.  All meetings are at the Sheridan Early Childhood Education Center located at 4000 So. Lowell Blvd. unless otherwise posted.

Citizens may submit a request prior to or at the meeting to have an audience with the board at the beginning and the end of these meetings. Minutes and agendas for Sheridan Board of Education meetings can be found on our web site.


THE SHERIDAN BOARD OF EDUCATION
HAS 1 SEAT OPEN FOR APPOINTMENT

School Board Seat Open for Appointment:
  • District B (2-year term).  District B includes all areas west of South Federal Blvd. which is north of West Bear Creek Drive and the area south of Highway 285 to West Mansfield Ave. (from South Hazel Court generally east to South Santa Fe Drive) and also the area south of West Mansfield Ave. to West Oxford Ave. which lies west of South Federal Blvd. and east of South Hazel Court.
The requirements to serve on the board are:
  • An interest in serving the community and the students of the Sheridan School District and their families
  • Be a registered voter for at least the last twelve months
  • Reside in Director District B for at least the last 12 months
Serving on the school board does take time and energy; however it can be one of the most rewarding challenges any citizen could hope for.
